Each earring runs three pieces deep. A brushed silver crescent moon at the top, a faceted golden stone in a plain silver bezel in the middle, and a large cut metal disc at the bottom with an eight-point star at its center and a row of moon phases cut through the lower curve. The disc is the piece that does the work, wide and open enough that the light comes through it while you wear it. The gold stone is the only color in the whole design.
