The level of detail in this work is immense. Every ridge on the sweeping horns and every individual scale on the torso has been meticulously scorched into the wood using deep pyrography. The background is created using a unique technique of dripping watercolor onto soaked wood. This creates a woodstain effect that bleeds into the grain. The many eyes of the creature watch from within this weathered patina, giving the spectre a haunting and timeless presence.
