"Shimmering Goat Skull" places a dramatically horned skull at the center of a floral ring, surrounded by a gold acrylic border and anchored in a stippled black halo. The metallic watercolors catch light differently at every angle, the floral background shifting and shimmering around the skull like a memento mori garden painted in peony and gold.
This is an original hand-burned and painted piece on a 12" pine round. Pyrography, metallic watercolor, and gold acrylic collide in a single surface that rewards a close look.
